Parents,
Today after school, a teacher reported to the High School Administration that a student made a threat to blow up the High School building over the Labor Day Weekend. Immediately the administration called in the Collinsville Police Department. Most students were already gone for the day. The police immediately evacuated the remaining students and staff from the building. With the help of the Tulsa County Sheriff and the Tulsa Police Department's Canine Sniffing Unit, the Collinsville Police were able to declare the building safe and secure. Collinsville Public School's #1 priority is the safety and security of our students and staff. We took the necessary precautions to insure just that this afternoon. We would like to thank the Collinsville Police Department, Tulsa County Sheriff and the Tulsa Police Department Canine Unit for their quick response and actions this afternoon. Have a great

| Every summer about this time, High School wrestlers from across the nation meet in Fargo to find out who is the best and show college coaches if they can make it at the next level. Its no coincidence that the same kids earning medals in Fargo are the same ones standing on the awards platform at their respective state tournaments in the winter. Collinsville wrestler Gary Wayne Harding, wrestling 132 lbs for team Oklahoma, placed 3rd and helped his Oklahoma team finish as well a they have in several years. Team Oklahoma, Coached by Collinsville coach Wes Harding had 9 wrestlers win medals and earn All-American status.
