Patricia Louise Bowman Lester passed peacefully in her sleep with her husband Phil by her side at her home in Seabrook, Texas, on August 25, 2013. A proud Collinsville native, born July 28, 1931, upon retirement, she and Phil travelled the United States and Europe enjoying themselves in their never ending search for their historical ancestors, discovering new family while making new friends and acquaintenances along the way. Pat was proud to have lived to see five generations within her own family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett W.Bowman, Sr. and Virginia Hewitt Bowman, and her siblings Peggy Jean Bowman and Garrett W. (Bubby) Bowman, Jr. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of sixty two years, Phil Douglas Lester and daughter Lori Virginia Lester McClane, granddaughter Melissa Louise McClane Roe and Husband Blu, grandson Clifton Douglas McClane, and great-grandchildren Alek Stone Roe, Kora Blu Roe and Clifton Douglas McClane, Jr, She also leaves behind her devoted sister Darlene Francis Bowman Dunn, several neices and nephews and their respective families, along with a vast wealth of historical family genealogical research for future generations to come. In lieu of rememberances, the family requests that donations be made to your local Historical Society.
