you visit or call a Collinsville school building, chances are you will be chatting
with one of these ladies. They are the secretaries, receptionist, and business
office personnel that keep the school functioning. They were gathered August
1st to discuss the up-coming school year.

morning runs as they prepare for the 2013 XC season this summer.
L-R: Morgan Cooper, Dylan Dyer, and Zach Sellers.
I
wasn't close enough to see who these runners were Monday morning on 19th Street,
but assume they are JrHi or CHS XC members also.
The
message sign at Wilson Elementary was updated Monday morning for "Teacher
Night" August 13th and the August 15th start of classes.
The
band spends summer mornings at Sallee Field.
I
wish now I had asked what this (brass) band drill is for, but will let each
viewer use their imagination instead. -- Ted
The
high school was busy Tuesday morning with freshman picking up their schedules
and taking care of other paper work.
I
interrupted the furniture hauling of these student workers Tuesday at the middle
school, just long enough for a photo. L-R: Keenan Hamilton, Jackson and
Sam West.
Travis
Darland (& Phil Davis) are always busy repairing and preparing projects
at all school facilities.
The
copier at ESC is hopefully now ready for the upcoming school year also.
