Girls Tennis Regionals: We had two girls qualify for the State Tennis Tournament yesterday. Freshmen, Cori Ingram and Diana Kolosha qualified for state by placing 4th in #2 Doubles at the Regional Tennis Tournament. Their competition included Cascia Hall, Booker T. Washington, Thomas Edison, Skiatook, Claremore, Grove, and East Central. The girls went 2-2 beating East Central and Thomas Edison. Congratulations to these girls on a tremendous season! Ted, The Collinsville Police Department will start issuing citations, Monday 4/29/13, for any students loitering downtown after school. Could you please put this on our website. (Per Terry Due) -- Melanie Garrett -- 4/26/2013 (2:45pm) Ted Note: This is in response to an on-going issue including property damage (to buildings and cars) and concern for people stepping out of businesses with illegal skating boarding on the downtown sidewalks zipping by at the same time. This had been a problem for the Library for years but has migrated to the 11th and Main area most recently. Apparently some kids have chosen to ignore previous warning from police and merchants to be better behaved.
