Ted,
the softball girls had a great first game today beating Bishop Kelley,
12-2, in 5 innings. We lost our second game to Grove, 6-0, but the
girls made Grove work for every hit they made. It's a tough way
for the girls to end the season, but they should be very proud of
themselves. Thanks Ted, Coach Sparks 10/7 |

Pastor
Danny Stanley just stopped by to let me know the Trinity Faith Church
held it's final services Sunday October 2, 2010 and the building
at 1107 W. Main will soon be for sale. Danny and his wife have both
had health issues which make it more difficult to carry on the work
as they have in the past 19 years on Main Street (formerly the Youth
& Company Church). Danny says they have helped many youth even
as far back as 1982 and are thankful for the support of the community
and church members over the years. -- Ted (10/7/2010) -- Sample

Got
a card from the IRS today saying they would not be mailing tax packets
this January (2011) as they have done for many years. I get that
they might be trying to save some money and force more to e-file
but am concerned for a fair number of folks who will never see this
web site nor own a computer. Personally I have no problem getting
forms from IRS.gov or post office or library (no I have not joined
the e-file crowd yet) but am more concerned with not having the
instruction book in my hand and archives. -- Ted Wright 10/5/2010
