Are you ready for
some football!! Thursday night the 7th, 8th and 9th grade teams traveled
to Skiatook for the Highway 20 “donnybrook”. The Thursday
night party was at Skiatook but the Bulldogs had nothing to celebrate.
This week the team goal was to be able to run the sweep. That is exactly
what the Cardinals accomplished. The Collinsville Cardinals swept the
3 game series in Classic fashion.
The night began with an overtime thriller. The Collinsville 7th grade
(5-1) handed the Bulldogs their first lose of the season, 22-16 in 2O.T.
The Cardinals 8th grade (5-1), reminded fans that great defense wins
big games. The 8th grade shut out the Bulldogs 16-0.
The Cardinals 9th grade (5-1) proved to be just too much for the Dogs.
The running game, passing game and great defense of the Cardinals pounded
the Bulldogs 28-0.
No injuries were reported.

The 8th grade “Blue”
team will travel to Skiatook on Monday. Game time is 5:30.
On Tuesday we host Catoosa for our final home contest of the 2010 season.
The 3 game series kicks off at 5:00.
Then on October 25th we play our final game of the season at Oologah.
