Mr. Wright, My Dad, Jerry Lloyd Smalygo, retired from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office on September 30 after 34 years and 2 months of service as an officer. He began his career in Auguest 1976 as a jailer, moved to dispatch, then on to civil. Later moving to patrol where he spent 12 years in North Tulsa County serving Collinsville, Skiatook, Sperry, Owasso, and Turley areas. For the past 18 years he worked in the courthouse.
