Renata Horn (Obituary) --
Renata Magdalena Scharpf - Horn died peacefully at Sequoyah Pointe Nursing Home on March 28th, 2019 in Owasso Oklahoma at the age of 80.
Renata Horn is survived by her relatives, Brother Jakob Scharpf and Niece Christa Scharpf of Ingolstadt Germany. Renata is preceded in death by her parents of Ingolstadt Germany.
Renata Horn was born on March 14,1939 in Ingolstadt Germany. She moved to the United States to Collinsville Oklahoma, Renata married a Collinsville local (Dean Horn) and he died in 2000. Renata worked for Collinsville Newspaper for over 15 years, she retired from the newspaper. Renata Horn was involved with the City and Chamber activities in the Collinsville area and attended Church in Collinsville. Her local family (friends) were Charles Michael McCarty and Marlena Ellis of Collinsville.
Renata Horn will be forever loved and remembered, her wonderful German accent and stories she told. She loved her animals and her little cabin and property in Collinsville. Renata also taught private German to many students in the Collinsville area.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday May 18 at 2:00 P.M. at Renata Horn's property in Collinsville, with a reception to follow. Curtis Ellis and Charles (Mike) McCarty will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Renata Horn's life.

Malcolm Tillman is the 5A boys 300H State Runner Up! New school record of 39.56! Way to go Malcolm!

New Date Set For Sept. 14th, 2019
Postponed -- 1940s Walking History Tour
Ron Evans was one of the founding members of this tour and, out of respect for him, we have chosen to postpone the 1940s History Tour until this summer. The new date is still TBD, but will be announced next week. -- Collinsville Chamber of Commerce 4/10/2019

If you have already purchased tickets to the tour, you have two options:

1. You may hang on to your tickets/bracelets. They will still be valid for the reschedule date.
2. Reach out to our office for a refund. We will happily assist you.

Congratulations to our Girls Tennis 1 doubles team (Tylie Griffith and Grace Baysinger) and 2 doubles team (Kamryn Stogsdill and Kara Choate). They qualified for the State Tournament to be held later this week in OKC.

Congratulations to our Boys Golf Team as they finished 4th in the Regional, and will play in State Tournament next Monday and Tuesday. (Canon Hunt, Walker Roberts, Jake Bays, Weston Neveu, and Tyler Walters)
