Disappointed
-- I've parked my car behind my place of business for about 9 years now and often
leave it unlocked as there is nothing worth stealing in it. But today (sometime
between 2pm and 6pm) someone decided to ransack my car apparently looking for
something to steal. -- Ted Wright -- 1110 W. Main, Collinsville -- Tuesday Oct.

| Ted,
Just wanted to update you on the CHS Crimson Cadets and Color Guard placement
at the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association (OBA) contest in Jenks that was held
on Saturday. Out of nineteen 4A and 5A bands, Collinsville came in 3rd place overall
in Class 4A, behind Piedmont High School who came in 1st in 4A, followed by Sallisaw
High School who came in 2nd. Collinsville was then announced, among twelve high
schools as a finalist. The finale began at 7:00 pm, with the Cadets and Guard
performing last at 9:45 pm. Out of the twelve finalists, the Cadets then placed
6th. Collinsville's band had two outstanding and very entertaining performances,
and should be commended, as well as Ron Lewis, Richard Newharat, Bruce Roberts
and Gina Lewis on a job well done. Congratulations! --Thanks, Kay Gerber 10/26/2008 | Vote
