The Boy Scout troop #84 from Owasso finished up the caboose today (Saturday Oct. 11, 2008). They were working on the Eagle Scout project for Owasso senior, Carl Wahlgren whose dad, Kent, is the scout master. The group started in late August on the project and worked most Saturday's in September in order to get it finished.

Members of the troop were:
Carl Wahlgren, Project Manager (Eagle Scout Project)
Tyler Lutz
Kevin Lutz
Andrew Storer
Kirk Wahlgren
Scott Storer
Diedra Scott
Conner Bradley
Brian Neldon
Connin Bourland
Nathan Bourland
And mother, Jo Wahlgren

Ted--there are several pictures on our web site collinsvilleoknifty50s.homestead.com of which you are welcome to use any of them if you want to. I think I have them labeled so there is a picture of Carl alone. The museum yard work has been done as well. Darlene, Alfred, Bill and I did that work. The city was co-operative in this venture. Marvin Jackson did a lot of woodworking on the caboose and filled in a lot of cracks so the scouts could do their work. Next up is to get the city of get the lights and AC working inside the museum and rotten boards replaced outside so the Nifty Fifties can work on the depot next spring.
