The
7th & 8th grade volleyball girls competed in the Catoosa Volleyball
Tournament today. Both came away with championships! -- The 8th
grade record now stands at 16-0 and the 7th grade is 15-1. Both
are having outstanding seasons with two more home matches. We host
Victory Christian on Tuesday starting at 4:00 and will finish the
year hosting the Metro Lakes Conference Tournament on Friday. First
matches starts at 8:30 and will run all day. These young ladies
and coaches have worked extremely hard throughout the year. Come

Softball: Rylee DeLozier hit a 2 run homer in the home game
against Skiatook on Thursday. They beat Skiatook 11 to 0. The girls
will play in the Broken Arrow tournament this Friday and Saturday
and will wrap up their season against Claremore next Thursday. Good

volleyball placed 3rd in the Bartlesville Tournament this weekend.
In pool play they beat Mustang 26-24, 25-17, 22-25, 25-9 and Ponca
City 25-13, 25-16, 25-18 and lost to Bartlesville (ranked #10 in
6A) 18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 16-25. We lost to Shawnee (ranked #10 in
5A) in the first round of the winners bracket 23-25, 18-25, 10-25
and beat Bishop Kelley JV for a 3rd place finish 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.
Kyrston Wheeler was named all-tournament. Good job, Lady Cards!

Clifton Evans,
92, of Leawood, KS, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Funeral
Service will be held Friday, August 17th, 10:00 am, McGilley State
Line Chapel, burial following in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery.
(Indepedence, MO). Wendall was born March 8, 1920 in Collinsville,
Oklahoma to Chancy and Elizabeth (Cunningham) Evans. He married
Ruby Davison in 1941. Survivors include his wife, Ruby; sister,
Waneta Reynolds; brother, Jerry Evans and numerous nieces and nephews. |

almost down (on either side of the Post Office) On Center Street
(at 11th). I have power out still at 4:50pm at the Museum downtown
