I didn't get the scrimmage details until yesterday afternoon. This Friday, the 26th, the Cardinal football team will scrimmage at Lincoln Christian field. The round robin scrimmage will begin at 5:00 with Cards playing against Casica Hall and then Okmulgee. At 8:30 the Cards will play a 2 quarter half game against Lincoln Christian. | Varsity volleyball beat Coweta tonight in four games: 26-24, 25-9, 17-25, and 25-22. -Toni Slagle (8/23/2011) | The Jr. High softball team played in the Collinsville Festival on Monday. They played 4 back to back games in the rain and finished with a record of 2 wins,1 tie and 1 loss. The 1st game of the festival was with Jenks and ended in an 11 to 11 tie. The 2nd game was against Oologah which they won 9 to 2. They had a tough game against Owasso but fell short and lost 7 to 8. They then beat Skiatook 6 to 4 for the last game of the festival. The girls will play in the Bixby tournament this Friday and Saturday and will play Muskogee, Haskell, Glenpool and Union in pool play before the bracket game on Sat. afternoon. -- Missy DeLozier 8/24/2011 (Previous Coverage) |

| The Collinsville School Board just met (10am Fri) in an emergency session to "approve emergency repairs to the High School building from storm related damages received on Wed. morning a.m. August 10, 2011". A letter will be sent to the state capitol for additional approval (including the Governor) which would allow a streamlined process to make repairs without the normal competitive bid & protest periods.
