| The CHS Lady Cardinal
Volleyball team is dealing with the disadvantage of not having their "home"
gym to start the 2011 season but demonstrated above they are willing to
do what ever it takes to carry on and have a great season. They do have
a "home" game 4pm Monday August 22nd which will be held at the
Collinsville Middle School gym (where they are also practicing since the
August 10th windstorm and rain damaged the high school roof and gym floor).
Other home games are being shifted to the away school location when possible
on a week to week basis. School officials are still working on the solutions
for the roof and floor with insurance adjusters and contractors. -- Ted

7th, 8th, 9th, JV, and Varsity swept Claremore Sequoyah tonight.

Wright, the varsity participated in the Sand Springs volleyball tournament
this weekend. Finished the tournament 5-2 and placing third, beating:
Ponca City, Sand Springs, Bishop Kelley JV, Glenpool and Enid ... losing:
Catoosa and Verdigris. Kryston Wheeler was selected on the all tournament

Cardinal Volleyball team went 3-0 on Friday by beating Enid, Sand Spring
and Glenpool and then beat Bishop Kelley in the 1st game on Sat in the
Sands Springs VB Tournament. The Ladys are leading Ponca City 8-5 in the
