Our Teams are working hard preparing for their upcoming scrimmages. Our Freshmen will scrimmage this Friday at Claremore against 6A opponent Bartlesville at 7:00pm. The bus will leave the dressing room at 5:45 and return around 9:00pm.
The 7th grade will scrimmage Monday, August 22nd, 6:00 against Tulsa Kelly. Then on Tuesday, August 23rd, our 8th grade will scrimmage Tulsa Kelly at 6:00. Due to weather conditions both 7th and 8th grade scrimmages will be held on the practice field. 7th and 8th players need to report to the dressing room by 4:15. The scrimmage should be complete by 8:00.
Our season opens September 8th against Claremore at Sallee Field.

Jim Riley Now Nationally Certified Athletic Administrator
The photos above (handing out State Championship medals and flipping burgers) are just two examples of the many and varied tasks CHS Athletic Director Jim Riley has handled since taking over officially in February 2010. Jim had been the assistant before that (to Lance West) since July 2009.
Football Player Labor Auction
-- from Jeanne Rush (8/17/2011) for QB Club:

First of all.......HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!!! I was impressed and amazed at the number of players who volunteered for this fundraiser. It is appreciated more than you know.
Jerry Don Shannon.....thank you so much for being our auctioneer. You always do and excellent job & keep things entertaining.
The auction was very successful thanks to the generous people who came to support the Quarterback Club. We were able to raise $2,000.00. All the money the Quarterback Club raises by Program Ads, Membership Sales, Store Sales & Fundraisers goes directly to the football players & coaching staff. This fundraiser was specifically planned to raise money to provide player packs (t-shirts & shorts) for all football players 7th-12th grade and hoodies for Varsity players. It makes a great impression for all players to arrive at a football game dressed the same. By providing the shorts and shirts, it leaves the football jersey to be worn when the focus and attitude changes at game time.
Thank you to our supporters (donations for our workers)
