Danny Doolin And Sherri Davis
Engaged To Be Married

Greetings and Great Joy!

I am very happy to let you all, my Friends and Family know that Mr. Roy Daniel Doolin has asked me to be his beloved and wife. Danny is a Marshal for the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service. He is the sweetest, most gentle man I have ever met in my life. Danny and I, well we just complete each other. Those of you that know us well know that Jesus is our Lord and the foundation of everything that we are and ever hope to be. (Most of you know I lost Brad at the first of the year and Danny lost his wife of 29 years shortly after.) The scripture that would best describe our last month would be:

Proverbs 3:5 and 6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Danny and I both know with out a doubt that our paths crossed because of the wonderful God that he and I have served for most of our adult lives, and we will continue to serve Him through out our marriage and into our many, many years together.

On Saturday September the 17th at 10:30am Danny and I become “Husband and Wife”.

Scripture outlines the wonderful blessed union of marriage in Colossians 3:18 and 19 Wives submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.

Danny and I will continue to live in our communities and travel back and forth between Brags and Collinsville. Rachael and Emma (Danny’s daughter, 17 yrs old) and their sense of security is very important to us. Danny and I will have the rest of our lives.

Thank you, Danny and Sherri

Cattle Shot By Bow & Arrow --
One Belonged To CHS Student
According to a report on KJRH Channel 2 TV news at 10pm Tuesday 8/9/2011 five cattle were shot and killed with bow and arrows near Oologah (on two separate farms). Among those was a cow belonging to Steve Brenan's daughter which was a 4-H project. The loss of that cow and 2 others results in a big loss to Brenan's daughter's future college finances. The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information. Call the Rogers County Sheriff's tip line 918-341-3620. -- Ted 11:30pm Tuesday
