Collinsville FFA Members Recognized on National Level

Brent Williams graduated from Collinsville High School in 2012 after receiving his State FFA Degree and is currently pursuing a degree at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. We are happy to announce that Brent will be receiving his American Degree in Louisville, Kentucky in October at the 2013 National FFA Convention. The American Degree demonstrates the highest level of commitment to FFA made significant accomplishments in their Supervised Agricultural Experiences.

Michaela Branen graduated from Collinsville High School in 2013. Michaela won state and was recognized on stage at the State FFA Convention in May of 2013 in the proficiency area of Landscape Management and then went on to place Gold at Nationals. Michaela is currently attending Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a member of the Livestock Judging Team.

68th Annual Collinsville Tri-County Fair
This past weekend at the 68th Annual Tri-County Fair, Collinsville FFA students, Corbin Bell, Morgan West, and Austin Roberts, took place in the meat goat show. Austin Roberts’s wether placed 1st in class 2 and 3rd in class 1. His does’ placed 1st in class 4, 2nd in class 5, and 2nd in class 6. Corbin Bell’s does’ placed 1st in class 7, 1st and 2nd in class 8, and Overall Grand. Morgan West’s wether placed 1st in class 8. Her does’ placed 1st in class 5 and 2nd in class 7. Morgan also won senior showmanship. Collinsville FFA also had a booth in the Collinsville Event Center. Tri-County Fair shirts are still for sale for $10 at the Collinsville Ag building.
