Garage Sale & Car Wash August 10th
& Flapjack Pancakes August 24th
Band Staff, Students, Boosters, and Parents,

We have a very busy month in August! Get your calendars out and add these events, your participation will help make this a successful year!

First, the Band Boosters will be holding their annual Garage Sale on Saturday August 10th. It will be located at the Education Service Center athletic gym (same location, just north of the football field), from 8-3. Donations are needed and can be dropped off starting Friday August 9th from 1-7pm. Goodwill will be picking up all remaining donations after the garage sale. We need volunteers to be at the gym on Friday during the drop-off times, even if you can just help out for a hour or two, it would be appreciated. Then we need volunteers to work on Saturday. Sign-up sheets will be available at the band room or you can email the Boosters, cccbandboosters@gmail.com, or respond on the Facebook page, Collinsville Crimson Cadet Boosters. You can also contact Sandra Green 918-951-2801.

Second, on the same day, August 10th, the Boosters will also be holding a car wash. The car wash will be located at Harden’s Hamburgers at 116th and Garnett (German Corner). The car wash will be from 9-2. We need parents and students to make this a great success! Also, please remember that this car wash is a Booster Club fundraiser. The money will not go into your students account, but the boosters use this money to purchase supplies, instruments and equipment needed to make your students band experience a success,. Please come out and support the boosters so that they can continue to support our band! Sign-ups will be available in the band room or from any of the contacts listed above.

Third, we have secured a Flapjack Breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s in Owasso. This fundraiser will be on Saturday August 24, 8-10am. Tickets are $7 and the band boosters will get $5 of every ticket. We will need students to help with serving and cleaning tables during this 2 hours. Tickets will be available online, http://aggrestaurants.com/ni/fj.asp?fj=tx1e9 , you can print your own tickets to sell, this link also has all the information on the fundraiser. Tickets will also be available in the band room. Please contact Sandra Green for more information. Sign-up sheets will be available in the band room or contact any Booster, or any of the above contacts. Once again, this is a booster fundraiser, please support the boosters as they support your band!
