| The Cardinal Wrestling team crowned 1 champion and placed 6 others as they finished second behind Perry at the Jay Hancock wrestling tournament in Yukon. Gary Wayne Harding placed first, Nate Kiem, Jacob Findley and Christian Moody finished second. Wyatt Jordan placed third. Justin Walker finished 4th and Roc Robbins placed 5th. Perry won the team race followed by Collinsville, Edmond North, Sand Springs and Yukon round out the top five. The Cards will dual Sand Springs on tues at home. applications for a part-time position of Water Treatment Plant
Operator I. Under minimum supervision candidate will be responsible
for maintaining water quality and plant equipment. Position requires
general knowledge of maintenance of water quality and testing. High

This is only make-up --- not retakes. Friday is the ONLY day you can have them taken to be in the 2014 annual. There is no cost unless you choose to purchase a packet. -- 1/21/2014 |
| Observation: Due to pending construction at the High School (new gym, ...) and behind Herald/ECC (new elementary) there will not be a home track meet nor a home cross country meet in the coming year. The CHS track should be ready again when construction completes. It is not clear yet where a new cross country "path" might be. The new CHS tennis schedule shows no home matches. | Filing period for city commission wards 3 & 4 & mayor will be Feb. 3-4-5. Mayor Herb Weaver indicates he will not be running for re-election. Bud York has indicated his intention to "throw his hat into the ring" for mayor. The ward 3 seat is currently held by Larry Shafer who had "no comment" ... "yet" when asked today if he would be running again.
