CHS Academic Team 4th At Area Tournament | ||
The
CHS Academic team competed in the
OSSAA Area Tournament this past Saturday. We fielded a team of 1 junior,
1 sophomore, and four freshmen and took a Fourth place finish behind Bishop
Kelley, Edison Preparatory School, and Tahlequah High School. This was
a GREAT showing for our young team! We completed our OSSAA season with
a record of 23 Wins and 8 Losses. I am very proud of the way the
students have handled themselves this season. We are scheduled to compete
next as a team in the Oklahoma Regional Science Bowl on February 1st and
students will be competing as individuals in the Oklahoma High School
Tournament of Champions in the coming weeks. Go Cardinals! Betty L. Gowler (CHS Librarian - Academic Team Coach - STUCO sponsor) (1/21/2014) |
