5. Consideration and possible action relating to a request for Commission
approval of the Consent Agenda. All matters listed under Consent
are considered by the City Commission to be routine and will be enacted
by one motion. Any Commissioner may, however, remove an item from the Consent
Agenda by request. A motion to adopt the Consent Agenda is non-debatable.
--A. Approval
of January # 1 Payroll in the amount of $43,152.21.
--B. Approval of Claims in the amount of $37,913.91.
--C. Approval of Minutes from January 6, 2014 Regular Meeting.
--D. Approval of lump sum retirement payment to Robert Battiest who retiring
January 21, 2014.

6. Discussion and possible action concerning items removed from the Consent
Agenda.

7. Discussion and possible action regarding reservations of City Park Shelters.
-- Approved (see
Dec. 17th park board recommendation) a $25 fee for 2 hours (& $10
for each additional hour) is now required to reserve either of the two new
shelters (near the splash pad) or the large shelter (on the lower lever).
The reservation would need to be made in advance during business hours at
city hall. When not reserved (which will be marked by signs at each shelter)
the shelters will be available (for free use) on a "neighborly"
first come / first serve / or shared basis. Anyone using any park facility
(reserved or not) is expected to leave the area clean and ready for the
next person's use.
8. City
Managers Report. -- Pam Polk reported on these
topics:
* Papa Dave's (new fish restraunt at the former Grey Beard's location) has
scheduled a limited hours opening Jan. 24th
* Cherokee Food Distribution
Center grand opening was Jan. 16th
* Chamber of Commerce banquest is Saturday Jan. 25th

Work Directors Report. -- Phil Stowell reported
on these topics
* Wanted city residents to know that the brush pickup is in progress (starting
on north side of city) ...but has been hampered by the resent closing
of the Avalon minimun security center in Tulsa which was one source
for city labor on the project.
* Left-over sand on Main Street (1,8 miles in the city) following multiple
recent slick road treatments by city & state. The city is getting street
sweeping cost estimates to see if cleaning up the mostly sand debris is
worth while.
* Collinsville has been selected by the upcoming Tulsa Home & Garden
Show executives to receive the live display trees as soon as the show completes.
The value is estimated at $10K but the number and types of trees is not
yet know here.
