On Monday afternoon the high school Academic Team competed at Sequoyah in three, back-to-back rounds of play against Sequoyah, Locust Grove, and Oologah and won all three matches for a record of 6-0 so far this season! Coach Wes Harding: I want to let you know that Skip
Harrington passed away yesterday. Skip was the gentleman
that helped us coach. If you have a picture of him please post it.
He helped coach the wrestling team to 3 state titles. He has been
involved in wrestling his whole life. He moved here from Kansas
because his sons got transfered to work at Spirit in Tulsa. They
were Eddie and Jeff Harrington. He will be greatly missed. He also
had a daughter named Cindy. Thank You! -- 9/17/2013 --
Update: At this time, all we know about Skip's funeral is that it
will be in Derby, Ks next Monday. Location and time will be posted
