On
behalf of the CHS cheer squad we would like to thank all
of our supporters that came out this weekend. The parents, family,
and friends always show great support and love. We would also like
to thank the administrators: Mr. Due, Mr. West, Coach Riley, Mr.Coleman
and Coach Jones. Thanks for making the trip to Stillwater for our
first trip to the OSSAA State Cheer Competition. We had a blast!

to get two elementary games in today (between rains). Not sure what
the weather does for the fly-in today. I decided not to make the
Stillwater trip today so I'd appreciate a few state cheer photos

Overtime Loss to Claremore in district football game for Collinsville
High School. Regulation finished at 35-35. Collinsville scored a
field goal in OT but Claremore scored a rushing TD on their first

The parade line up will begin at 2:00 and the parade will begin
at 3:00. Everything has been moved up 30 minutes because of the

curious: my Sprint wireless device has been unable to establish
an internet connection in over 24 hours ... having not heard anyone
else complaining ... I'm gonna assume it is a problem with my device

Go
Cardinals! On Monday afternoon the high
school Academic Team competed at Sequoyah in three, back-to-back
rounds of play against Sequoyah, Locust Grove, and Oologah and won
all three matches for a record of 6-0 so far this season! Team members
for Monday's matches were Jordan Carney, Sydney Vogel, Rachel Hadley,
Spencer Braswell, Daniel Wilson, and Captain Cannon Vogel. -- Lynn

Friday
night's football game at Oologah will be a PINK OUT on both
sides of the stadium as a show of support for those whose lives
have been affected by cancer. The school with the most pink will
be recognized at halftime with an award accepted by the principal
and all money collected during the game will be donated in that
school's name. Let's support our school and community by showing

Coach Wes Harding: I want to let you know that Skip
Harrington passed away yesterday. Skip was the gentleman
that helped us coach. If you have a picture of him please post it.
He helped coach the wrestling team to 3 state titles. He has been
involved in wrestling his whole life. He moved here from Kansas
because his sons got transfered to work at Spirit in Tulsa. They
were Eddie and Jeff Harrington. He will be greatly missed. He also
had a daughter named Cindy. Thank You! -- 9/17/2013 --
Update: At this time, all we know about Skip's funeral is that it
will be in Derby, Ks next Monday. Location and time will be posted
later. -- Jim Riley 9/18 -- The funeral for
Skip Harrington is 10:00 am at St.Mary's Church in Derby Kansas

country meet, I recommend you go out to ECC/Herald/Sportsplex
by 5pm Thursday (Sept. 12th) for the annual Collinsville hosted
meet. You will see all the kids put in amazing efforts to cover
the required miles in an amazingly short amount of time. It's FREE!
and their only home meet. There will be 4 races with boys &

hosts a cross country meet here Thursday (5pm) and Catoosa for HS
football (7pm) Friday night, and youth football at Sallee Field
Saturday. The band boosters meet at 7 Tuesday at the football field.
The new cross country booster organization meets tonight also (Tuesday)

Boys Cross Country: Dylan Dyer & Zach Sellers both medaled
finishing 7th and 15th at the Bartlesville XC meet Saturday. The
team finished 5th overall. Really proud of how everyone performed.
