I want to let you know that Skip Harrington passed away yesterday. Skip was the gentleman that helped us coach. If you have a picture of him please post it. He helped coach the wrestling team to 3 state titles. He has been involved in wrestling his whole life. He moved here from Kansas because his sons got transfered to work at Spirit in Tulsa. He will be greatly missed. Thank You! -- 9/17/2013 --
Update: At this time, all we know about Skip's funeral is that it will be in Derby, Ks next Monday. Location and time will be posted later. -- Jim Riley 9/18 --
The funeral for Skip Harrington is 10:00 am at St.Mary's Church in Derby Kansas next Friday. -- Jim Riley 9/19

Harrington, Edward (Skip) JR, 77, retired construction worker, small business owner and US Navy veteran, passed away Sept 16, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He will be remembered for his dedication to the sport of wrestling in both Kansas and Oklahoma. He touched many lives through his coaching and love of the sport. He was born in Kansas City, MO on November 29, 1935. He married Judi Brown on Dec. 30, 1961. They were married for 46 years before her death in 2007. He is survived by his brother Robert (Virginia) Harrington of Wichita, and his five children: Sons, Skip Harrington of Florida, Eddie (April) Harrington of Catoosa Ok, Jeff Harrington of Tulsa OK; Daughters, Maggie Jensen of North Sioux City SD and Cindy (Steve) Shavlik of Derby, KS. He had 16 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. Skip had a special relationship with each and will be missed by all. Services 10 a.m. Friday, Sept 27 at St. Mary’s Parish, 2300 E.
