Seth Boomer (#12) first quarter pass.
Levi Draper (#10) & Hayden West (#33) double teamed this Catoosa pass receiver and Levi ended up the ball and returned it for the first score of the game. The Catoosa pass play started at the Catoosa 31 yard line.
Completing the pick-6 play Levi Draper (#10) used a Chase Lorg (#9) block at the 30 yard line and scored with 7:42 left in the first quarter. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for a 7-0 score.
Spencer Oslin (#65) finished off this Catoosa first quarter run.
Hayden West (#33) took a Seth Boomer pass and left this would-be tackler and reached the 3 yard line on a first quarter play that started at the 27.
Malcom Tillman (#24) covered the final 3 yards for the 2nd Cardinal score at 4:29 in the first quarter.
Seth Weiser (#6) added the extra point for a 14-0 score out of Tate Robards' (#8) hold.
Cameron Camp (#60) provided pressure on the Catoosa passer contributing to the Cardinal interception below.
Brett Erickson (#11) picked off a long Catoosa pass and returned it to the Collinsville 48 with 2:22 left in the first quarter with The Trap and cheerleaders and Tre Robinson (#75) cheering him on. Brett was whistled down on this hit but he popped up and tried to continue convinced he wasn't downed.
Seth Boomer (#12) scrambled to the home sideline and ended up seated on his Catoosa tackler.
Malcom Tillman (#24) intercepted a Catoosa pass at their 31 on the first play of the 2nd quarter.
Offensive Coordinator Adam Hass gives Seth Boomer (#12) the play call early in the 2nd quarter.
Seth Boomer and Levi Draper (#10) missed connecting on this 4th and 7 yard play from the 15 at 9:31 in the 2nd quarter and Catoosa took over on downs.
Seth Boomer (#12) scrambling in the 2nd quarter.
Brett Erickson (#11) completed a 55 yard TD play with a Seth Boomer pass at the 7:01 mark of the 2nd quarter. Weiser's kick was blocked leaving the score 20-0.
Nate Keim had 20 pushups to complete for The Trap following Erickson's TD.
After being pinned at the 1 yard line by a Catoosa punt with 3:55 left in the second quarter, Catoosa nearly got a 2-point safety with Logan Sieminskie getting just a few inches out of the endzone on the first play. Collinsville then covered 99+ yards with this pass play from Seth Boomer (#12) to Dylan Russell (#3) reaching the Card's 39 setting up the play below.
Collinsville faced a 4th and 4 from their own 39 yard line and just 35.4 seconds left before halftime. Rather than punt, the Cards went for the long ball and Seth Boomer and Levi Draper (#10) connected on a 61 yard touchdown pass play. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for a 27-0 half time score.
The CHS Cheerleaders performed at half time with the routine they will take to 5A Cheer Regionals (at Bixby Sept. 17th)
This early 3rd quarter tackle of Hayden West (#33) was already ackward looking but continued out of bounds for an additional 15 yards (penalty) to the Catoosa 40 yard line.
Malcom Tillman (#24) completed the Cards first possession the the 3rd quarter with a one yard plunge with 8:32 left in the period. I assumed the extra point was good and the score board showed 34-0 ... but was later changed to 33-0? -- Ted
The Boomer brothers combined on this 4th quarter pass (Seth to Grayson).
Trey Eberle (#14) with a fourth quarter rushing gain after taking the handoff from Tate Robards (#8).

A heavy downpour of rain about 3pm Thursday did not interrupt CHS football practice as they will likely also face rain here Friday night when they host Catoosa. Bring your rain gear and come out to support the Cardinals. -- 9/8/2016

Catoosa probably felt "sat upon" all night after the Cardinal shutoff. And anyone down wind of "The Trap" got "powdered" at the initial kickoff. -- more later -- Ted 11:45pm Friday 9/9/2016
I waited too late to leave my ESC office ... as I hear the rain pouring down now about 10 minutes before midnight. Thankful for a dry football game. -- Ted 9/9/2016
