Fake Punt / Key Play -- Collinsville started the 4th quarter with this fake on 4th & 1 from their own 19 yard line. The Cards had a 14-7 lead and gambled with a direct snap to an up back who picked up a first down. Most of the 4th quarter was played in Cards territory.

Kevin Phillips (#11) caught this 17 yard Lane Coulter pass on 4th down with 4:48 left in the 1st quarter for Collinsville's 1st score on their 2nd possession.
Kevin Phillips (#11) made a 1-handed interception of this Catoosa pass after it was tipped by Dalton Rasmussen (#85). Kevin returned the ball 45 yards for Collinsville's second touchdown with 5:17 left in the 3rd quarter. This broke a 7-7 tie (after a Catoosa 50 yard TD run at 8:04 in the 2nd quarter).
Michael Pitts crowned Homecoming Queen Mollie Colpitt in the pre-game coronation ceremony. Rain stopped before the ceremony and held off until after the game completed.
Michael Pitts (#51) partially blocked the first Catoosa punt and set the Cards up at Catoosa's 36 yard line with 2:15 left in the 1st quarter. . The Cards failed to pick up a first down and turned the ball back to Catoosa on downs. Catoosa had already fumbled the initial Cardinal punt with Merin Oakley recovering to set up the Cards at Catoosa's 47 for the first scoring drive.
I couldn't tell who rushed the ball in real-time but guessing from the photo it was either Kyle Rush (32) or Dalton Rasmussen (85)? -- Ted
The Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band performed during the coronation ceremony (above) and also marched at half-time sporting their new uniforms that arrived very late in the marching season last year.
Members of the CHS Class of 1977 attended the Friday night football game as part of their reunion activities this weekend.
The CHS Cheerleaders got some TV time on Channel 6 Friday night (along with a Jared Billups interception shown during the sports).
I'm not quite sure what the message was from several of the rabid Collinsville fans ... but I guess it worked? -- Ted
QB Lane Coulter (#7) has just taken the snap from center Phillip Kolosha (#77) in 4th quarter action as the Cards held onto a slim 7 point lead.
The Cardinal defense came up big scoring a defensive touchdown and holding Catoosa scoreless in 3 of the 4 quarters.
