CHS Football at Catoosa
Cardinals Beat
Catoosa 42-10
Even Season Record
The CHS Cheerleaders were wearing brand new blue uniforms which they will likely be wearing next Saturday (Sept. 19th) at their Regionals at Bixby and then hopefully Cheer State Sept. 26th at Stillwater.
This tackle by about half the Cardinal defense ended Catoosa's first possession brought up 4th down and a Catoosa punt to Collinsville's 25.
Collinsville's first possession was just 3 plays with a Seth Boomer short pass to Hayden West (#33) covering 70 yards down to Catoosa's 7 yard line setting up the first touchdown (below).
Marcus Tillman (#24) stretched out to cover the final 7 yards of the Cardinals first possession scoring at 9:18 in the first quarter.
Cole Hadley (#9) added the first of his extra points for a 7-0 score with a big Collinsville crowd in the spacious visitors side of Catoosa's rennovated field.
Levi Draper (#10) stopped this Catoosa play behind the line of scrimmage in the first quarter.
QB Seth Boomer (#12) had a big game passing the ball including 3 touchdown passes of 21, 50 and 47 yards (and a 70 yard pass that didn't score above).
Jacob Harrison (#51) and Grayson Boomer (#87) provide pressure on this Catoosa pass play.
Josh Arnold (#43) and Levi Draper (#10) wrapped up this Catoosa ball carrier.
Catoosa did put together a drive and kicked a field goal at the 9:33 mark of the 2nd quarter and a 7-3 score.
The Collinsville student section continues to amaze.
Sheaffer Smith (#25), with an assist from Colin Ford (#62), wrestled his way into the end zone past this Catoosa defender for a 5 yard TD rush with 2:15 left in the first half. Hadley's kick made the score 21-3.
The Cheerleaders may have gotten some Fox 23 TV air time.
Marcus Tillman (#24) returned the opening kickoff for the 2nd half out to the 50 yard line.
I normally would have edited out all the "dead space" in a photo and show mostly the receiver and a bit of nearby real estate ... but for this Seth Boomer 50 yard TD pass to Sam West (#13) there was no defender even close as the Catoosa sideline spectator seems to ask where they may be? This was third play from scrimmage in the 3rd quarter and Hadley's kick made the score 28-3.
Roc Robbins (#44) sacked the Catoosa QB on this early third quarter play.
Sheaffer Smith (#25) hugged the sideline on the way to the endzone but had the 65 yard play called back in the 3rd quarter.
Tyler Forrest (#1) broke up this Catoosa pass at mid field (in the 3rd quarter between the two TDs below).
Hayden West (#33) scored on a 47 yard Seth Boomer pass with 5:321 left in the 3rd quarter. Hadley's kick moved the score to 35-3. Sheaffer Smith (#25) picked up a Catoosa fumble and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown with 1:32 left in the 3rd quarter and after Hadley's kick the score was 42-3.
Tyler Fanning (#3) with a 4th quarter tackle.

There was a somber but patriotic start to the evening with images displayed on the 14th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon 9/11/2001.
This Seth Boomer (#12) pass to Brandon Lowe (#2) covered 28 yards into the end zone but was called back by penalty. The Cards did complete the drive later in the 2nd quarter with a Boomer to Hayden West TD pass.
Cousins Sam West (#13) and Hayden West (#33) celebrate Hayden's 21 yard TD pass catch from Seth Boomer at 6:24 in the 2nd quarter and a 14-3 tally.
