Tahlequah had already scored on a 76 yard drive early in the 4th quarter (23-13) and nearly scored again on what would have been a 71 yard drive but Collinsville recoved a fumble at the one yard line instead with 5:31 left in the game. Collinsville got no further than the six yard line and Walker Roberts punted out to the Collinsville 47 and Tahlequah scored four plays later to make the score 23-20 with 3:21 left in the game.
Late in the Tahlequah game Levi Draper cleanly fielded an onside kick (above) and went immediately to the ground ending the play and any possibility of a fumble ... before what looked like a cheap shot by a Tahlequah player (below). Offsetting penalties left the ball at the 50 yard line and Collinsville ran out the remaining 3:21 for a close 23-20 win after starting the 4th quarter with a 23-7 lead.
