There was a full day of Homecoming activities Friday before the football game kicked off (with a pep rally at he high school, a parade downtown, and a pre-game cornation). Homecoming Queen Baylee Eigenheer and King Shawn Koscheski were all grins after a big kiss planted by Koscheski. Flower girl Josey Jones and crown bearer Jaxx Stout shared the moment. I'll have more photos of homecoming activities on a separate page later. -- Ted
Blake Burd (#22) got the defense rolling early with this sack of Tahlequah's QB for an 8 yard loss on the first play from scrimmage. Roc Robbins (#44) and Jacob Harrison (#51) are there to assist if necessary.
Brandon Lowe (#2) didn't bring any smiles to the Tahlequah bench as he intercepted a Tahlequah pass at Collinsville's 41 yard line ending the Tiger's first possession at 8:15 in the 1st quarter.

Levi Draper (#10) stopped Tahlequah's QB on this play with the flag already flying for the QB's stiff arm attempt that drew a facemask penalty that was declined bringing up a 4th and 6. Collinsville then held them short on the 4th down attempt and took over to start their second scoring drive of the evening at 10:08 in the 2nd quarter. Collinsville reached the 12 yard line setting up a Cole Hadley field goal at 7:28 before half and a 10-0 lead.

Michael McAtee (#76) applied just enough pressure on this Tahlequah trick play for the back to throw an interception (back across the field) which Marcus Tillman (see photo at the top of this page) ran in for a Cardinal touchdown at 5:23 in the 3rd quarter. Hadley's kick put the score at 17-7.
Three Collinsville defenders stopped Tahlequah near the 7 yard line on this play. A penalty, then a Josh Arnold sack pushed them back to the 20 before they kicked a field goal with 1:38 left in the 3rd quarter for a 17-10 score.
