There was no interference called when one of the Collinsville receivers was knocked to the turf on an incomplete pass play (to another receiver) on Collinsville's first possession. | ||||||||||||||||||
Touchdown overruled? - This photo is too early to tell for sure ... but Malcom Tillman (#24) appears to be on top of Chase Lorg (#9) and not downed yet .. with at least one official signaling a touchdown later in the 4th and goal play. After a lengthy officials conference the ball was spotted short of the goal and awarded to Memorial. | ||||||||||||||||||

Called Back -- Hayden West (#33) picked off a Memorial pass on the second play of the second quarter and returned the ball (50+ yards) to the endzone, but the run back was wiped out by a penalty call. Collinsville kept the ball but were backed up to their own 35. | ||||||||||||||||||

2nd quarter sweep.

Malcom Tillman (#24) finally got a touchdown that counted with this 4 yard plunge at the 6:49 mark of the 2nd quarter and completed the possession started by West's interception. Seth Weiser's kick put the score at 7-0. | ||||||||||||||||||

Memorial nearly answered Collinsville's touchdown driving to the Collinsville 5 yard line before Chase Lorg (#9) took the ball away -- with a tackling assist by Hayden West (#33) -- at 3:54 in the 2nd quarter. | ||||||||||||||||||
After the fumble recovery at the 5 yard line, Tillman rushed Collinsville to the 15 and 24 yard lines before a 71 yard Seth Boomer pass play to Brett Erickson (#11) moved the ball to Memorial's 6 yard line (including the horse collar tackle penalty). | ||||||||||||||||||
Levi Draper (#10) completed the Collinsville drive with this 5 yard TD pass from Seth Boomer with 1:19 left before half time. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for a 14-0 score. | ||||||||||||||||||
With 6:41 left in the 3rd quarter Seth Boomer (#12) connected with Brett Erickson (below) on a 51 yard touchdown pass play. | ||||||||||||||||||
Brett Erickson (#11) completed the 51 yard touchdown pass play and following Weiser's extra point Collinsville was up 21-0. | ||||||||||||||||||

Called Back -- Brett Erickson (#11) fielded a Memorial punt and with some nifty moves returned it to the endzone early in the fourth quarter but it was flagged back to the Memorial 27. | ||||||||||||||||||
