Bradley Smith (#73) blocking for Seth Boomer (#12) and Dylan Russell (#3).
There was no interference called when one of the Collinsville receivers was knocked to the turf on an incomplete pass play (to another receiver) on Collinsville's first possession.
Touchdown overruled? - This photo is too early to tell for sure ... but Malcom Tillman (#24) appears to be on top of Chase Lorg (#9) and not downed yet .. with at least one official signaling a touchdown later in the 4th and goal play. After a lengthy officials conference the ball was spotted short of the goal and awarded to Memorial.
Levi Draper (#10) and Dylan Russell (#3) have this Memorial back wrapped up early in the first quarter.
Called Back -- Hayden West (#33) picked off a Memorial pass on the second play of the second quarter and returned the ball (50+ yards) to the endzone, but the run back was wiped out by a penalty call. Collinsville kept the ball but were backed up to their own 35.
Hayden West (#33) had to hurdle two grounded Collinsville blockers on this 2nd quarter sweep.
Malcom Tillman (#24) finally got a touchdown that counted with this 4 yard plunge at the 6:49 mark of the 2nd quarter and completed the possession started by West's interception. Seth Weiser's kick put the score at 7-0.
Freshman Ashton Jones (#20) has handled the kickoff duties the past two weeks.
Memorial nearly answered Collinsville's touchdown driving to the Collinsville 5 yard line before Chase Lorg (#9) took the ball away -- with a tackling assist by Hayden West (#33) -- at 3:54 in the 2nd quarter.
After the fumble recovery at the 5 yard line, Tillman rushed Collinsville to the 15 and 24 yard lines before a 71 yard Seth Boomer pass play to Brett Erickson (#11) moved the ball to Memorial's 6 yard line (including the horse collar tackle penalty).
Levi Draper (#10) completed the Collinsville drive with this 5 yard TD pass from Seth Boomer with 1:19 left before half time. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for a 14-0 score.
With 6:41 left in the 3rd quarter Seth Boomer (#12) connected with Brett Erickson (below) on a 51 yard touchdown pass play.
Brett Erickson (#11) completed the 51 yard touchdown pass play and following Weiser's extra point Collinsville was up 21-0.
QB Seth Boomer (#12) converted a 4th and 4 play into a 31 yard TD pass to Levi Draper (below).
Levi Draper (#10) caught his second TD pass of the game with 1:31 left in the 3rd quarter. Seth Weiser kicked the extra point for what turned out to be the final 28-0 score.
Called Back -- Brett Erickson (#11) fielded a Memorial punt and with some nifty moves returned it to the endzone early in the fourth quarter but it was flagged back to the Memorial 27.
Walker Roberts (#23) punted for Collinsville.
The Collinsville band did not march but entertained from the stands.
Marcus Reeder (#88) with a 4th quarter tackle.
Brett Erickson (#11) recovered a Memorial fumble and returned it into Memorial territory with 1:38 left in the game.
Carter Lowe (#25), Tres Sexton (#80), QB Tate Robards (#8), along with starters Nate Schaffner (#58) and Bradley Smith (#73) helped run out the final minute and a half.
