CHS Academic Team News
(L-R) Front Row: Spencer Braswell, Dylan Bayouth, Sydney Vogel, Cannon Vogel, and Lyndee Branen. Back Row: Devyn Lyon, Daniel Wilson, Rachel Hadley, Caden Weathers, Jordan Carney, and Coach Betty Gowler.
The Academic Team participated in Engineer Games at Tulsa Community College on Friday and three second place medals were earned by Caden Weathers, Sydney Vogel, and Jordan Carney with all first place medals going to Jenks.

Saturday we participated in the Oklahoma Quiz Bowl Association Fall Challenge Tournament in Muskogee. We had wins over Roland and Stigler and had losses to Booker T. Washington, Norman North, and Cistercian Prep (a private Catholic School out of Texas). Though our team didn't place in the final rankings, it was a great learning experience playing against some really strong competition from schools that we don't see in our regular conference play. Cannon Vogel was recognized as the fifth highest individual scorer for the tournament.

The CHS Academic Team continued its Green Country Conference play yesterday, winning three games at Catoosa to advance their record to 20 and 3.

This Saturday, Nov. 1, the team will play in the Oklahoma Quiz Bowl Alliance Fall Challenge Tournament in Muskogee where they will face several larger schools, including Booker T. Washington, Norman North, and Stillwater, as well as a couple of schools from Texas.

Turkey Legs & Alumni Band

The Band Boosters would like to invite all Crimson Cadet Alumni to join the band this Friday night in support of the Cardinals as they take on East Central. Alumni are welcome to bring instruments and join in playing Oskie Wowow, or simply sit in the band stand and enjoy the music and football game.

We are excited to see all the Seniors recognized that night, as well as watch the Cadets perform their Annual Light Show at half-time.

And finally, SMOKED TURKEY LEGS will be available Friday night! So spread the word, and come support our Cardinals and Crimson Cadets.

With Thanks,

Erica Caputo (Band Booster Secretary 2014-2015)
&
Michelle Cross (2013-14 Band Booster Secretary)
