Jr. High Football Report (at Skiatook) |
The Collinsville
Cardinal Jr. High Football teams traveled west on Highway 20 to Skiatook
Thursday night (Oct. 23rd) for a Metro Lakes Conference showdown. The
Cardinal Nation showed up in force as the grandstands looked
to be pretty full. Our teams gave our Cheerleaders and fans plenty to
cheer about all night long. The 8th grade game was another smash-mouth affair. Our defense rose to the occasion several times and our offense was just too much for the Bulldogs in the end. Cardinals win a big one, 30-16. No injuries were reported. The Cardinals improve to 7-0 with one game remaining on the schedule. The 9th grade game was a defensive battle. Both teams moved the ball between the 20s, but turnovers were the Cardinals worst enemy. Bulldogs win a close one 10-7. No injuries were reported. Congratulations to the Bulldogs. Our next action will be at Sallee Field next Thursday. The Cardinals will host the Coweta Tigers for our final game of the year. The Metro Lakes Conference titles for the 7th and 8th grade teams will be on the line Thursday night beginning at 5pm. Please come out to support our boys and be positive with your support. Coaches and officials will make mistakes, just like any other adult may. Coachm up |

He had strong support from freshmen Caden Weathers and Kaylyn Branen,
each scoring 60 points. Sophomores Jordan Carney and Rachel Hadley and

you are welcome to a copy if you bring me a 4GB thumb drive (for softball)
or an 8GB thumb drive (for volleyball). You can drop by my office (Education
Service Center at 1902 W. Maple across from the football field) just about
anytime but best to coordinate via email first to make sure I'll be there.
Note: JrHi, JV and Varsity games are all in the same folder. --

Reminder: This will be the first school year that I will not be offering photos for a specific student. -- Ted |
