| Junior running back Blake Burd (#22) suffered what had been feared to be a season ending shoulder injury in the first game of the season, but after sitting out the next 4 games he was cleared to play against Grove and he took full advantage of his limited playing time. He scored (above) on a 21 yard Seth Boomer pass play at 8:46 in the second quarter (and a 10-0 score after Hadley's PAT kick). Burd also scored a rushing touchdown later in the 2nd quarter. | ||||||||||||||||||||
