Members of Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band arrived early and provided entertainment for the good sized dedication and open house crowd.
U.S. Representative John Sullivan was one of the many dignitaries here Tuesday to formally dedicate the new Collinsville Fire/EMS facility.
Collinsville Fire Chief Russell Young thanked all making this new building possible including the Tulsa County voters who approved the Vision 2025 funding of projects like this one. Tulsa will hold a ground breaking tomorrow for the new 18,000-seat event center designed by world-renowned Cesar Pelli. Fire Chief Russell Young and EMS Director Elizabeth Sullivan drove a fire truck and ambulance forward to bust a ribbon held by State Senator Randy Brogdon, Tulsa County Commissioners Bob Dick and Wilbert Collins, U.S. Representative John Sullivan and Collinsville Mayor Stan Sallee.
Collinsville EMS Director Elizabeth Sullivan was interviewed by KRMG following the speeches and ribbon busting. The crowd was invited in to tour the new facility.
The Life Flight Helicopter made a fly by of the Collinsville Fire/EMS facility late during the open house August 30, 2005.
