varsity baseball Cardinals suffered a tough 5 to 3 loss to Carl Albert
High School in Friday's semi-finals in the Class 5A State Tournament
held at Broken Arrow High School. The Cards had the bases loaded with
two out in the bottom of the seventh inning but failed to capitalize. |

3rd) in the 5th. Carl Albert scored one in the 5th and one in the 6th
for the difference in the game.

| Carl Albert started the celebration after escaping the Cardinals loading the bases in the 7th with two out (Barnes walk, Minton single, Hutchens walk) but being unable to convert. This ended Collinsville's season and sent Carl Albert to the finals against Pryor at OneOK the next day, with Pryor the victor there for the 5A title.. | |||||||||||||||||||
