When Collinsville Middle School was being build in 2005, the chilling tower concept seemed like a good idea. But after freezing up and being replaced once ... and freezing up again and being de-commissioned ... the last remains were finally removed today -- March 20, 2019

Upgrades continue at Collinsville Sallee Field. Metal is replacing the old wood flooring on the visitors side. In the mean time visitors are seated on the home side for soccer. - March 19, 2019

The "Four-Plex" building on the North West corner of 12th and Exchange on the old Washington Elementary School block was torn down recently. I'm not sure when these classrooms were added, but know they were used as alternative school classrooms in the not too far past, before the alternative school relocated to the Wilson campus. The main (1912) Washington building is still "intact" but used only for storage with an uncertain future.
