Cardinal Football -- Jr. High Update (Pryor) 9-27-17

The Collinsville Cardinals 7th, 8th, and 9th grade football teams traveled to Pryor last night to play a Metro Lakes Conference contest. The Pryor Middle School Band performed all night and added a Friday night atmosphere to the evening of entertainment. But the Collinsville cheerleaders and fans were the equalizer to Pryor’s enthusiasm and kept the Cardinals fired up all night. In each game, the Cardinals demonstrated the tenacity of the Collinsville offense and defense and were able to cage the Tigers. The spread offense of the Tigers was difficult to stop in each game, but the swarming defense of the Cardinals proved that we were the better team in each game.
A big Thank You goes out to the QB Club Moms and the RED ZONE for the meal and snacks that were provided to the players.

The Cardinals will host the Claremore Zebras next Thursday Oct. 5th. This will be another Metro Lakes Conference contest. Game time is 5pm.

October 5th will also be our Jr. High “Pink Out” night. All proceeds will go to Daniel
“No One Fights Alone, We Fight With Daniel.” Daniel Malon a sophomore student athlete for the Cardinals is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Please keep Daniel in your prayers and look for updates on the Collinsville QB Club Facebook page or Daniel’s Trek on Facebook.
