22 Teams In Collinsville Educational Foundation Golf Tournament Helped Fund Academic Teacher Grants
A line of geese provided an interesting background for this shot by Caroline Blevins at the CEF Golf Scramble Monday held at The Greens in Owasso.
Collinsville Education Foundation Trustees were keeping things running smoothly at The Greens Monday.
Seated (L-R) Ron Evans, Rhonda Paul, and Sheryl Witten. Standing (L-R) Bill Thomas and School Board Member Wendell Johnson. A preliminary report at their June 10th meeting indicates they will likely net over $17,000 for the event which will be available for academic teacher grants and scholarships for next school year. Two other CEF Trustees (Bart Schultheiss and Ron Richardson) had teams in the tournament and are in the photos below. The newest CEF Trustee, Lexee Schubert, missed this photo. Bill Thomas announced his "retirement" from future golf tournament organization / fundraiser efforts due to age/health concerns for he and his wife Kitty.
The Phillips (Kevin & Rick) and Richardsons (Eileen & Ron) paired for a team to help support Collinsville Education.
Boyd Schultheiss sank this putt for the Schultheiss Insurance team with Bart Schultheiss standing to the left.
The CHS Golf Girls had two teams in the CEF tournament Monday. They are measuring for "closest to the hole" above.
L-R: Joshua Herriman (Coach Toni's husband), Sophie Sallee, CHS Girls Golf Coach Toni Slagle, and Caroline Blevins putting.
Nina Lee (right) putts while Gail Young, Taylor O'Dell & Madison O'Dell watch.
Soon-to-be 8th grader Cole Dugger tees off and helps introduce my next set of photos of former CHS Cardinal quarterbacks playing in Monday's CEF tourney. Cole may work his way into that position in a few years but for today is my stand-in for his dad (James, CHS 1993) who I didn't get a photo of.

Steve Williams (1969) and James Burwell (1970) above and Brad Overholt (1987) to the right, led their CHS football teams as quarterbacks. Apologies, if I overlooked any other QBs there Monday. -- Ted
Tyler Chronister (CHS 2007) played golf Monday with CHS Principal Jon Coleman, Assistant Principal Ken Chronister, and Bob Pratt (retired CHS Boys golf coach). Tyler led the 2007 CHS football team as quarterback. He is one of Collinsville's newest coaches for 2015-16 (back from Oologah) and be be assisting on the football field and basketball court in addition to the classroom (world history).
Collinsville Schools Superintendent Lance West chips to the green with the Brewer Construction team. West is very appreciative of the teacher grants the CEF provides to Collinsville teachers.
Jeff Fousel prepares to tee off for the Edward Jones team ... and is also a member of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge which is a major supporter of the CEF tournament.
