All of the CHS band members were on the field Wednesday morning with their new "cool collars" provided by the band boosters. They also have tents, misters and lots of water to deal with the heat. The afternoon summer band sessions move back inside at the band room. The new marchers started on the field Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Band Garage Sale
The Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band Boosters will be hosting a Garage Sale on Saturday, August 11 from 7am to 3pm at the Current Church, 14133 North 137th East Avenue. All sales are on a donation basis and proceeds go to help fund activities and items needed by the High School Band during the 2012-2013 school year.

Band Boosters Meeting
Tuesday August 14th (7pm) at the Band Room near 14th & Spring St.
Summer Band to shift 1 hour earlier -- Mr. Newhart has announced that Summer Band has been moved up an hour to try and beat the heat. Morning practice will be 7am to 10am, afternoon will be 11am to 2pm. -- (Friday 8/3/21012)
