Alissa Wilson signed with Oklahoma Baptist University Monday April 9, 2012. She was joined at the CHS signing by her parents David and Shannon Wilson (seated), OBU Assistant Track & Field Coach Matt Kennedy (standing left), and many of of Collinsville Coaches: Tommy Redding, Kim Myers, Adam Hass, Dale Harp and Rhonda Rogers.
Alissa's brother Jackson was seated to her left in the "Friends and Teammate" photo. Her sister Paige was out of town for a CHS tennis tournament and missed the signing event. The CHS track and softball teams were well represented.
From the OBU web site:
Coached by Dale Harp at CHS, Wilson is a three-time State qualifier and has been in the State top 10 three consecutive seasons. Her personal records are 112-10 in the discus and 33-5 in the shot put.

The daughter of David and Shannon Wilson, Alissa plans to major in secondary education at OBU.

"OBU is a great school with an awesome track team," Wilson said. "They also will allow me to do track and play softball. Baptist is my family church background."
