Note: the 1929 news story in the history above describes Collinsville hosting a Tulsa County track meet at a horse race track south of Collinsville, but based on an actual high school track, I'm pretty sure this 2009 event qualifies as a modern first. -- Ted Wright

Ted, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for all our coaches and athletes for the promotion of the first EVER track meet to be held at Collinsville High School. I sincerely appreciate the time and energy to share with our district in the promotion of our student-athletes and our school. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and they are very much appreciated. You help make our programs what they are and to be seen by all your viewers is a tremendous positive for our kids.
-- Thank you so much, Kelly Anderson (4/22/2009)
