This is the view facing east on Highway 20 near the Nursing Home where the traffic lanes have been shifted to one new lane and one old lane to allow creation of the new additional lane on the south side and its connectionto the new less curved S-Curved alignment.
This view is facing west (from the old S-Curve) where dirt work continues on the future alignment of Highway 20 as it transitions to/from Main Street and Broadway.
Slow Down -- Drive Carefully!
The new lane on east end of the project (on the south side) have asphalt and appear ready for traffic to transition there when required later.
Facing east towards 18th & 17th Street (& Piggly Wiggly grocery) where the new roadway alignment will eventually pass.
