The Home Representative
Club (HRC) of Collinsville was very excited to host the 1st President's
Day Coloring Contest for students at Collinsville Wilson Elementary.
HRC is a civic organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing
the lives of others through volunteer services. For over 50 years just
some of the programs that HRC has implemented for the students of the
Collinsville School system are: |

Prices Back Above $3 Again

I filled my gas tank Friday to get ready for the trip to OKC (wrestling) Saturday and finally remembered to get a photo of the price which has been rising the past few weeks to now be above $3 per gallon for unleaded regular. I was surprised (following a search for the link below) that it had been so long (2008) since gas prices had been dynamic news (at least to me) -- Ted. |

The Collinsville City Park was full of kids Sunday Feb. 27th, 2011, enjoying the unseasonably warm (70+ degree) temperatures. From basketball, skateboard, and softball practice weather it is a marked contrast to the first week of the month with 2 feet of snow and record low temperatures. |
