Hannah's Helping Hands, Inc. — Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer. Many families need help with the most basic needs for their families during this fight for their child’s life. Some must leave work for months and even years to care for their sick child and the financial loss can be devastating. Our goal is to help as many families being treated locally as possible. We help with basic needs such as gas & food cards, groceries, wigs, utility payments, prescriptions, medical co-payments, rent/housing as well as other expenses. Our referrals come from doctors, nurses and staff at a local children’s hospital in Tulsa as well as our local communities.

One of the latest additions to the Collinsville City park is a huge rock now located near the splash pad and a pre-exiating rock formation there. I first spotted the rock near 15th and Main St. in the debris from the additional lanes and drainage dirt work Nov. 24th (below). I suggested to city officials it would make a nice addition to the park and with the aid of the S-Curve construction company (Paragon) the rock was moved to the park sometime before the Dec. 16th photo above. -- Ted Wright
My daughter Emily is here briefly (from Australia) and provided a size comparison for the new rock Dec. 29th.
The roadway connection from Spring Street to the center of the park has been blocked by two mounds of gravel as city officials decide how best to repair the low water creek crossing which has apparently been undermined by years of heavy water flow when the creek has overflowed.
The Cherokee Nation provided new signage for the park to provide notification of the new city ordinance prohibiting tobacco use in the park.
The CHS tennis teams have been able to get in several "winter" practice session with the mild weather ending 2011 as they prepare for spring 2012 matches.
