Cardinal
Jr. High Football Mid-Winter Report |
This is a special time of the year. The Christmas spirit is upon us and half the school year is behind us. We can reflect back on our accomplishments in 2011 and begin to focus on what we wish to accomplish in 2012. In 2011, our 7th
grade was Metro Lakes Conference Champions, was undefeated and set the
tone for great things to happen in the years to come. Since the end of October our winter sports athletes have been competing well in wrestling and basketball. The athletes not involved in a winter sport have been hard at it in off-season. Some ask what is off-season? Well, it is a combination of weight room, core exercises, agility drills, flexibility drills speed development, character development, and just plain hard work. It is the foundation of a championship program. It is amazing the improvement our players demonstrate during this time. Their bodies show gains in strength and size as a result of the weight room. I am thankful to be a part of a coaching staff that receives this opportunity to coach these outstanding young athletes. The hard work will be rewarded in the coming months and be a constant reminder of what CODE RED is all about. Our classroom efforts are doing great. Grades are better than they have ever been, thanks to our fabulous teachers. So, Merry Christmas
and enjoy the incoming of a new year. Coachm up
