Wall-To-Wall Novice Wrestlers -- The CHS gym was full of young wrestlers from NE Oklahoma Saturday (Nov. 6, 2009) as Collinsville hosted their annual novice wrestling tournnament.

Cherokee Cemetery / Hog Fry
Buel Anglen's Cherokee District 8 Hog Fry was already dispersing at the VCO Community Building when I drove by Saturday afternoon (Nov. 7, 2009). (Last Year & 2006)

I had gone out to the Victory Cemetery Friday (Nov. 6th) to check a reported vandalism on the lookout platform (below). If you have information on that spray painting incident contact the Collinsville Police or Danny Stanley. The trip out was my first look at the new wider roadway (from 12th Street at Cedar) and also a new Cherokee language stop sign (above). -- Ted Wright

"Aretha" and her back-up singers performed for the Wilson 1st & 2nd graders Friday Nov. 6th, 2009. Check back later for the next set of kids recognized for their "respect".
Veterans Day Program -- 9:00am in the Wilson Elementary cafeteria on Wednesday, November 11th.
