Indian Ed Art Winners

Collinsville's Johnson O'Malley Indian Education Program had some students enter their Cherokee art work in a contest sponsored by Cherokee Nation Co-Partner Program. Brooklyn Fields received 1st place and Natalie Dennington received 2nd place and they are both in Mrs. Atkinson's second grade class. Yonah Tripp, received 3rd place and is in Mrs. Lowder's second grade class. All the students did their art work with acrylic paint. These students will receive a certificate and their monetary award at the annual Johnson O'Malley Honor Banquet on May 5, 2009. Congratulations to these winners and all the students that entered the contest.
