Roadway work continues
to connect to the new Main Street bridge. This section of dirt is near
Karen's Kountry Kitchen and Brinkley's Auto Sales. There is a temporary
back door entry behind Miller's Sinclair (off 5th Street) to reach these

This is a picture of Jack, Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven's Corgi Mix. Jack is brother to our $10,000 puppy who helped the ALS benefit, "Hunt For the Cure". Jack is a sweety and needs a family to love. Good weekend news, Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven's long time resident, Thomas, has been adopted to a loving family. We also found homes for Skippy, another WWAH favorite, and Willie,a new resident. Gizmo and his family were reunited after Gizmo had been missing from home for a month. I hate to be crass, but if anyone wants to know what we need the most, it is funding to help with daily operations. While building WWAH I could stop building until I had funding for the next step, but with live occupants I have to continue daily and need the funding to do so. You can always send donations to FOCAS, P.O. Box 795, Collinsville, OK 74021. Watch for our third Saturday events starting April 19, 2008 12:00-3:00 and our Giant Garage Sale May 2 and 3 in the American Legion Building at 9th and Main. -- Susan Babbitt (3/30/2008) |
My "assistant" Georgia was surprised to see the street signs at 12th and Main down at her eye level Saturday. The signs were removed during the streetscape changes in progress. downtown. -- Ted |
