Concrete beams spanning the piers at the new Main Street bridge are taking shape this week with the form being removed from the west-most set Wednesday while the next set was being poured. (Previous Coverage)
Collinsville Youth Baseball will be having signups Jan. 19th and 26th at the Middle School in the cafteria. Ages will be 4-11 and no money or copy of birth is needed at that time. Times will be from 8 am to noon each of those two Saturdays or they can signup on line at collinsvilleyouthbaseball.com.

The Library Patchworkers met January 8th, & Mary Wood was the lucky winner of the fat quarter drawing. Several quilts were donated for the Shriners Hospital, & the program was a discussion on "cameo blocks" trimmed in applique'. Next meeting will be Feb. 12. (Previous Coverage)
Linda Pfeffer displayed an antique star quilt made from scraps.
There are fewer signs of ice storm damage each day as Collinsville continues clean up efforts. Noticed the downed pole (above) still on the damaged PrarieView Addition sign Wednesday . A FEMA representative will be in Collinsville Friday (Jan. 11th) assessing Collinsville's need.
