These are the only 2 senior players (Michael Pitts #51 and Jarrod Shearer #63) that have been in the football program since their 7th grade year. They have stuck through all of the hard times and are still playing. We thought that these 2 boys deserved some recognition for sticking through it all and remaining dedicated to the end. These 2 boys "Got Tough" and hung in there. We are very proud of both of them and wish them both all the luck in the world their Senior year. We also want to wish the other Seniors good luck this year too. We are proud of all of you.

(Submitted by Jana Ring 10-11-2007)
Mr. Wright,
The Harvest of Homes tour is coming up, and the Home Builders Association is sponsoring the Student Council in a contest for the best display. I am sending a couple of photos of the Collinsville 6th and 8th grade displays. There are several schools involved in this contest.
Thank you, Jana

This photo of Martha Strickland is from the Patchworkers Oct. 9 meeting with one of many beautiful Show and Tell quilts. Martha's quilt will be used for a fundraiser at her church this coming holiday season. The Patchwork Quilters next gathering is Nov. 13 and our Fat Quarter drawing will consist of Christmas fabrics.
