General Livestock Rules and Regulations
2014 Tri-County Fair

1. Only registered 4-H and FFA members (including Cloverbuds) may show livestock.

2. In all cases, exhibitor must furnish, when required, registration papers in that
individual’s name for all animals they are showing.

3. Exhibitor must show his/her own animal.

4. Exhibitor must furnish own feed, bedding (shavings only, no straw) and water
containers.

5. Exhibitor must prepare their own animal for the show ring. No professional fitting
on the day of the show.

6. No gambling or betting permitted.

7. All property of every character entered for competition or any other purpose, or
being anywhere on the fairgrounds, shall be under the control of the Fair Board. In
no case shall the Fair Board be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury of
any character to any such property while under their control, or any time or place.

8. The Tri-County Fair Board reserves the right to interpret these rules and regulations
and to arbitrarily settle all questions or disputes arising in connection with the Tri-
County Fair to be held under the management of this Board.

9. Exhibitor must clean up their area before leaving the grounds.

10. Under no circumstances will any drug or drugs be administered to animals while at
the Tri-County Fair.

11. Superintendents shall have the discretion to divide market animals into weight
classes and number of animals per class as deemed necessary to make the show
fair and equitable for the majority of the participants.

12. All protests must be made in writing and accompanied by a $50 cash deposit.
Deposit will be forfeited if protest is not sustained. The said protest must state
plainly the cause of the complaint and must be filed with the department
superintendent within 30 minutes after the award is made and ribbon is placed.

3. Chutes and fans allowed but number and placement will be at discretion of beef superintendent.
4. Read General Livestock Rules and Regulations.

Heifers:

1. All heifers must have been born on or after August 22, 2012
2. Heifers must be accompanied by an official registration certificate or will show as commercial
heifers.
3. Commercial heifers will be shown by weight.
4. Heifers will be shown in alphabetical order by breed and classed by age with commercial
heifers showing last (by weight).
6. Herefords polled or horned will show together.
5. Breeds and breed influences will show together
7. Read General Livestock Rules and Regulations.


4-H/FFA Rabbit Show
Show Day: Saturday / August 23
Entries Accepted: 7:30 – 8 a.m.
Entry Fee: $2 per rabbit – CASH only

Children's Dog Show
Thursday / August 22.
Registration 5:30-6:30pm.
Show starts at 7 pm.
Children ages 5-18 may show their dog or a relative/friend's dog. All dogs must be
current on their shots, PROOF OF VACINATIONS IS REQUIRED.

4-H Exhibits will be taken on August 21 from 3:30 to 5:30 at the First Assembly Church at Tenth and Center and will follow the Tulsa State Fair guidelines.
