Exhibition in this department is limited to REGISTERED 4-H and Cloverbud members only.
The 4-H member should enter the class that matches his/her age on January 1 of current year and follow guidelines in 4-H manuals.
Each 4-H member is limited to a total of 20 items. Cloverbuds are limited to 5 items each.
Due to space, sections 303 and 323 have limits on number of entries.
All exhibits must be entered Thursday August 20, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m..
Exhibits will be released Saturday August 22, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Ribbons will be awarded first through third places. Premium will be paid to first only.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Any
dog showing aggression to another dog and/or person will be disqualified and asked
to leave the show immediately.
1.Exhibitor must submit written proof (signed by a veterinarian) of vaccinations within the last 12 months applicable to type of animal.
2. NO LIVESTOCK! Miniature Hobby animals permitted in Pet Fair.
3.
If exhibitor is a 4-H or FFA member they should wear a
t-shirt, armband,
or jacket of the organization they represent.
4. Pets must be collared, leashed or caged at all times. Must bring own cage or crate to hold animal.
5. Dogs over 6 months of age must compete in Dog Show, dogs under 6 months must compete in the Pet Fair.
6. In Dog Show grooming classes, dogs must be groomed by the exhibitor.
7. The Tri-County Fair Board reserves the right to interpret these rules and regulations and arbitrarily settle questions arising in connection with this contest as held under the management of those responsible.
8. Judge's decisions are final.

1.
Only registered 4-H and FFA members may show animals.
2. In all cases, exhibitor
must furnish, when required, registration papers in that individual's name for
all animals they are exhibiting. All market animals must pass breed type committee.
3. Exhibitor must show their own animal unless they have written permission from
the show Superintendent.
4. Exhibitor must furnish own feed, bedding (shavings
only, no straw) and water containers.
5. Exhibitor must prepare their own
animal for the show ring. No professional fitting on the day of the show.
6. Exhibitors will be required to keep their stalls in an orderly fashion and
accessible to visitors. Exhibitors are required to move bedding to the center
of the aisle prior to departure. All waste manure is to be piled outside the barns.
7. To be considered for Showmanship, exhibitors MUST display the décor
of their organization
8. No gambling or betting permitted.
9. All property
of every character entered for competition or any other purpose, or being anywhere
in the fairgrounds, shall be under the control of the Fair Board. In no case shall
the Fair Board be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury of any character
to any such property while under their control, or at any time or place.
10.
The Tri-County Fair Board reserves the right to interpret these rules and regulations
and to arbitrarily settle all questions or disputes arising in connection with
the Tri-County Fair to be held under the management of this Board.
11. Livestock
entry fees will be divided approximately as follows: 10% to judge, 20% to grand
and reserve champion, 70% to top 3 of class.
12. No animals allowed on the
grounds prior to 6:00 a.m. the day of the show.
13. Under no circumstances
will any drug or drugs be administered to animals while at the Tri-County Fair.
14. Trailers will be parked in designated areas only.
15. All protests must
be made in writing and accompanied by a deposit of $10 cash. Deposit will be forfeited
if protest is not sustained. The said protest must state plainly the cause of
the complaint and must be filed with the Department Superintendents within 30
minutes after the award is made and ribbon is placed.

but number and placement will be at the discretion of the Beef Superintendent.
Health papers are not required for the Beef Show.
